Day 200 PHOTOS

DAY 12 December 12th. Sydney

Sadly December 12th was "get off my ship day". Our cruise was over. 12 days was not long enough. Juan Diego escorted us off the ship. He must have really wanted us gone! Or maybe he really did love us and was sad to see us go!

Gone! But not gone for long. This time we only have to wait until the 24th October 2013. 33 days circumnavigating Australia and a bit on New Zealand. Bring it on!

DAYs 10 & 11 December 10th &11th. Sea Days.

Raina went to 'The Captain's Corner', an information session with open question time run by the Captain where he talks about the running' s of the ship. It was great.

Sarah and Chris had a slight sleep in. They decided they needed lunch after they woke up and ordered many main meals and many deserts.

They ordered so much they became slightly embarrassed when the delivery guy arrived so called out to no one in the empty rooms "Food's here".  But they did manage to eat it all. It was not wasted.

Sleep, rest and relaxation and a Bridge tour which was fantastic. Juan Diego and Captain Sindre showed us around.

Sarah and Chris had been talking about "MJ", a guest, who was fairly sure that he was actually Michael Jackson, and loved to perform. Raina saw him do an amazing number int he shallows of the pool.  He WAS amazing.

Well, sleep and relaxation after a very early start. Dexter, the head of sport and activities had organised a rock climbing championship. 8am on the last sea day. And when you think about the demographic of people that would want to enter a climbing comp, 8am on a sea day may not have been the best time. Dexter was a dick though! So we all crawled out of bed, dressed and rushed up to watch Chris climb like a champion and win this thing. And win he did! Pity no-one else got out of bed! He was the only entrant.

We all had a fabulous last night in the Concierge Club then 'the Cool Kids' went out to dinner. Juan Diego joined us at Chops. A hilarious night followed.

The Group' attended 'Liar, Liar' another entertainment evening. Four high ranked officers sat on a panel and each gave 'their' definition of obscure words. We had to vote on the meaning we believed to be correct. Juan Diego was on the panel so we were there to support him. And support him we did! Loudly and enthusiastically. We were also meant to heckle. And heckle we did! Especially Andy, who would scream at the top of his lungs "LAIR, He's a dirty liar", among other insults. Juan Diego was not the eventual winner of the competition but certainly won the most loved and best supported award.

DAY 9 December 9th. Noumea, New Caledonia

They say a picture says "a thousand words".  "Nuff said".

Sarah and Chris had been going to Karaoke each evening and having a wonderful time. Juan Diego organized a private Karaoke session in the Concierge Club - with the professional gear. He invited some of the staff, who were brilliant singers to come and join in. It was such a fun night.

That was follow up with 'The Gang' all going to Quest - an adult scavenger hunt.
